You should be angry, you should demand change, you are completely correct to be angry about how you are denied access to a livable and cheaper life because your representatives, local government and Senators sold you out to the automobile lobby. What is it with all of the people whining about Sandsurges being a gem breed? They announced it would be one… what, in May? You’re telling me you wanted the cool dragon, but didn’t think to save up your gems for two months?
“gems r so hard to get!1!1” the easiest way to get gems is to list shit on the AH. Do you have an overwhelming amount of Baldwin materials from constantly dumping trinkets in his bubbly bathtub? Great, you can go sell those in stacks. Does Crim keep giving you an overwhelming amount of Berserkers or Ambushes? Nice, list those, they tend to sell for decent coin. Brew some Bogsneak eggs and some genes you know people want and list those too! Eggs cost 65kt to brew and are being listed at 220g this very minute!
Max out the fairgrounds if you have time. Find someone on the forums who’s willing to trade gems for treasure. Gems may be premium currency but they are not as hard to obtain as you make it out to be.
Btw, all of this advice is coming from someone who’s broke and doesn’t even employ the same strategies to obtain coin. I just did like five minutes of thinking and came up with multiple ways for y'all to get your damned shinies.

Before I breed changed her I could just never get her colours and genes to work well with anyone so she was just the clan babysitter lol.
Shes such a relic of my early time on FR she was one of the first dragons I bought and a part of the first trio I ever coli trained so her stats are all over the place cause I had no idea how the coli functioned lmao.
The introduction of aethers and all the new genes really saved her since I never knew what to do with her cause I couldn’t make any scries work and she’s a lvl 25 with whack stats so I didn’t even know how to sell her. But she has persevered! I think she’s really pretty as an aether and she finally has a son of her own lol. Welcome to Bluebell! Proof that I’ve finally found a look for his poor ol’ mum.
